I'm a victim and I have the "Story" to prove it.

Our lives are filled with stories. None of these stories are ultimately true, but we do have our stories. Do you create stories that empower you to experience Fun, Love & Joy or do you choose to create stories that continuously allow you to be a victim and not responsible for everything in your life?

Life is a game that can be played to unimaginable levels when you choose empowering stories as fuel for future journey's. What context are your stories in? What fuel are you burning in your Skin Suit Mind to propel your future stories.

Think about it! Before this gets too serious, remember this, they're all just stories AND whatever your stories are, if you're thinking of them right now, they're in the past. Each moment is a new day of adventure, what stories will you choose...and what stories do you choose?

Watch this video and don't take your stories too seriously:

A Trial Seperation From God

I have a great idea. Why don't we all take our personal sense of power and give it away to someone else? We wouldn't need to be responsible for our lives if we blamed our parents, employers, the government, etc. for how things "Turn out."
Well now, while we're at it, we could create the ultimate back up plan to give our power away and not be responsible for ourselves. Let's play a game called, God, The Universe, My Higher Self, Consciousness, etc. is separate from me and I need to rely on that separate "thing" to be powerful."

When all else fails, we could blame it on "That greater thing that's separate from me." Whew! Now I can kick back and focus on being a victim in peace. It's not my fault, God did it. I guess the universe just wants me to be kicked in the butt today.

What if we've been going about this all wrong? Okay, not wrong, but not the most fun and powerful. Is it possible that we're not separate from _________ ? ( fill in the blank) The idea has boggled the mind of countless philosophers. Could we be Divinity?

It doesn't seem possible to process this with our human minds. I believe most things in this world are a paradox. Spirituality is clearly one. We have over 20,000 interpretations of Christianity alone. It could be said we have over 6 billion interpretations of what God is and the number is growing everyday. Many of these people believe they have the "Truth." Hmmm, that's a paradox for you!

What if, hold onto your britches, what if we aren't separate? What if we are God? Breathe.

Take a look at the ocean. It's made up of, let's say billions of drops of water. Is the ocean the creator of the drops of water? Did the drops of water create the ocean? Now, if you're an incredibly brilliant scientist reading this and you're an atheist, please stop reading now and check out the fascinating ezinearticles on "edible forest insects." The ocean metaphor is a paradox. Somewhere in it, you might be able to see a truth.

For me, all I know is they're the same thing. One is not separate from the other. It really is that simple. If you don't over think it, you will experience a sense of peace.

Okay, so if the drops and the ocean are the same thing, what happens when my 3 year old daughter scoops a pail full of water out of the ocean? No matter how far she carries that pail up the beach, that water is still part of the ocean and part of the billions of drops of water. You could say, the water in the pail is having an "experience" of being separate. If the water had a conscious, I don't think it would worry much about getting back home.

Livvie and Ava enjoying their experience of seperation

Humans might just be like a pail of water. We're each having the experience of being separate from the ocean. We're one of billions of drops of water. Sometimes, we travel alone. (raindrops, teardrops, dew) Most often, we're found in communities. (pails of water, puddles, ponds, rivers, lakes)

I believe each of us is the raindrop and the ocean. Yes, it's a paradox, but if you quit thinking about it, you might be able to experience an enormous sense of peace and true power. You may also, discover who is 100% responsible for you and everything you experience.

If you're mind is thoroughly boggled now, have a Perrier and ask yourself, how much of ME is water?

Your life is a Murder Mystery Dinner Party

I have a good friend who is an event planner. One if her favorite events she told me in enthusiastically great detail was the planning of a murder mystery dinner party. A fun loving family hired her to plan the and get all the necessities for the party. There was catered food, appropriate costumes to acquire, a really great venue to rent …… and a murder to plan.

My friend did an amazing job of planning, organizing and orchestrating the entire evening for the large family. The party was a smash hit for all. Upon arrival everyone received an envelope. Inside the envelope was a note that gave them their identity for the evening and just enough about their role and the other characters to set the stage for an evening filled with mystery and murder. Each person was told who they were to be that evening and where they fit in the fictional family. Costumes were donned and the evening began.

This event was one part play and one part improvisation. As the party progressed everyone knew they were part of the entertainment although they did not know the bigger picture. They only knew details like you will meet your brother Charles Stanley III in the library for a cup of tea promptly at 9:10 p.m.

Everyone knew someone was going to die that night….

Various events went on during the evening. Some seemed perfectly normal and some seemed rather random. Everyone knew there would be a victim and a murderer. The way this event was choreographed the victim and the murderer did not know that part of their role until absolutely necessary. This way they could enjoy most of the suspense that night too.

The fun part was trying to piece the events of the evening together and wondering if you were going to be victim/murderer (or neither) knowing full well you have no choice in the matter. The evening had already been planned out in advance by the event planner. Your job was just to show up, play your part and enjoy watching the eventful evening to unfold. Some things were in your awareness and a lot were not.

So you might be asking yourself right about now so what?
Why do I care about a murder mystery?

Consider all the parallels with the Leap! Philosophy.
Consider how many ways this analogy actually relates to your life if you choose to interpret it this way:

It was all designed to be fun!
It has all been prearranged for your enjoyment.
You made a conscious decision to play the game before it started.
You are given an identity when the game started and you accepted it to play the game.
You don’t know what's going to happen…. Will you be the murderer or the victim? Or neither?
Surprises make the game work and make it fun.
Within the game the consequences are huge: This is life and death!....and you still played because you think of it as fun.
No one playing the game said “Hey I don’t want to play a game where someone dies”
You know you are not really going to “die”….. it’s just a game.
You know whoever the victim is isn’t going to die and they are just playing the part…..at the end of the evening everyone goes home happy.
You know the murderer is just playing their part too….after all what is a murder mystery without a murderer?!

What would life be like if you could apply this analogy to your everyday life?
Do you think you would be empowered? Peaceful?
Would you be able to enjoy each moment as it is?
Do you think it would shift your experience of life?

While making Leap!, we discovered countless contemporary interpretations of what could be described as the oldest idea in humanity. We now live our lives traveling to empower people through our Leap! Beyond Limits Workshops and continuously create new movies to support people in their game of life.

The only question in the end is,

WILL YOU TAKE THE LEAP! OR STAY ASLEEP?

Science and Nonduality Conference this October

Leap! www.leapmovie.com is being shown at the Science and Nonduality Conference this year along with other films such as Amit Goswami's "The Quantum Activist."

The Leap! Guys will be there to provide Q&A following the film. This is an amazing opportunity for people to learn and connect with countless visionaries in the fields of Science and Spirituality.

Click on the image below to check it out if you're inspired.

Science and Nonduality Conference

What is nonduality, anyway?

There are many shades of meaning to the word nonduality. As an introduction, we might say that nonduality is the philosophical, spiritual, and scientific understanding of non-separation and fundamental oneness.

Our starting point is the statement “we are all one,” and this is meant not in some abstract sense but at the deepest level of existence. Duality, or separation between the observer and the observed, is an illusion that the Eastern mystics have long recognized and Western science has more recently come to understand through quantum mechanics.

Dualities are usually seen in terms of opposites: Mind/Matter, Self/Other, Conscious/Unconscious, Illusion/Reality, Quantum/Classical, Wave/Particle, Spiritual/Material, Beginning/End, Male/Female, Living/Dead and Good/Evil. Nonduality is the understanding that identification with common dualisms avoids recognition of a deeper reality.
So how can we better understand nonduality?

There are two aspects to this question, and at first glance they appear to be mutually exclusive, although they may be considered two representations of a single underlying reality.

The first aspect is our understanding of external reality, and for this we turn to science. The word science comes from the Latin scientia, which means knowledge. The beauty and usefulness of science is that it seeks to measure and describe reality without personal, religious, or cultural bias. For something to be considered scientifically proven, it has to pass exhaustive scrutiny, and even then is always subject to future revision. Inevitably human biases creep in, but the pursuit of science itself is intrinsically an evolving quest for truth. But then quantum mechanics turned much of this lauded objectivity on its head, as the role of the observer became inseparable from the observed quantum effect. It is as if consciousness itself plays a role in creating reality. Indeed, the two may be the same thing. As quantum pioneer Niels Bohr once put it: “A physicist is just an atom's way of looking at itself!”

The second aspect is our inner, personal experience of consciousness, our “awareness of awareness.” We have our senses to perceive the world, but “behind” all perception, memory, identification and thought is simply pure awareness itself. Eastern mystics have described this undifferentiated consciousness for thousands of years as being the ultimate state of bliss, or nirvana. Seekers have attempted to experience it for themselves through countless rituals and practices, although the state itself can be quite simply described. As Indian advaita teacher Nisargadatta Maharaj said: “The trinity: mind, self and spirit, when looked into, becomes unity.”

The central challenge to understanding nonduality may be that it exists beyond language, because once it has been named, by definition -- and paradoxically -- a duality has been created. Even the statement “all things are one” creates a distinction between “one” and “not-one”! Hardly any wonder that nonduality has been misunderstood, particularly in the West.

No Greater Illusion Than Losing A Loved One

Along my journey to Enlightenment, by whatever name, I've had to be willing to give up everything that had any meaning to me. I don't really care how it shows up for any other "Skin Suit" this is how it showed up for me. I was stripped and burnt to nothing and when the ashes settled, I rose up like the Phoenix with a sense of power, peace and freedom I never could have imagined possible.

I looked at the world through the eyes of the creator (The REAL Me) and saw how perfect it all was. I realized I still had the opportunity to splinter my consciousness back into the character called Isaac Allen.

I jumped in and assumed the roll. Over the last 12 months, I've worked on balancing between the two identities in this dualistic world. It wasn't that long ago any shrink would've committed a person talking like this. Times have changed though and now, numbers of therapists are beginning to get sucked into the TRUTH much like the scientists started to only a few years ago.

Today, I lost one of my favorite characters in The Human Amusement Park. I met him in 1995 when we worked in Yellowstone National Park together. We hiked, climbed, talked, etc. our way through a summer of fun and chaos. We would connect frequently over the years for adventures. In 1999, we happened to both be in South East Asia and travelled together for several months. He ate dog one night, I did not.

In 2001 (Maybe) we reconnected in North Carolina as he began the battle to recover his health from AIDS. Friendship for me is about being there for your friends when they really need you. I moved him and I into a house of a friend of ours and through countless trips to doctors and over 30 pills a day, he slowly recovered. Once he was well enough, I invited him to Alaska where I had previously lived before coming to N.C.

The stories of zany adventures could go on forever. He was an amazing character in the ultimate game called, LIFE.

I may have rambled a bit in this posting just to say, there is no greater illusion in life than losing a loved one.

Today, the character I've loved as a brother and friend, A.J. Prescott, checked out of my game. I will forever be grateful for all this creation brought to me over the years and never forget him.

-Isaac
